MarketWatch, citing data from Realtor.com, reports that delistings are rising faster than the number of homes being listed for sale. It noted how South Florida stood out among U.S. metro areas with “elevated shares of delisted homes.” 

“The increase in delistings is ‘an early signal that sellers may be losing patience in a market that’s taking longer to deliver desired offers,’” according to MarketWatch. One agent interviewed in the piece is advising sellers that “it could even take up to six months for it to sell, but you need to have a plan.”
